Question regarding eco friendly 2 disc/double feature cases.

Could anyone tell me or provide a photo of what an eco friendly case looks like for a 2 disc set or double feature? I want to buy a double feature that includes two movies on two discs but both of them are double sided but feeling around the case in the store it feels very light and that it's an eco friendly case with the recycling stuff on there and i'm curious to know if these cases for 2 discs can easily be scratched up or finger printed.
Thanks!

Eco-friendly, my butt. Since those flimsy cases don't have any recycling triangle printed on them, every single one of mine have gone into the trash.

Why do you throw them in the trash?

I absolutely hate these cases. I guess they do a good job of securing the disc in place but do they really have to cut out the holes in them? How's that saving plastic? If they really want to save the world's landfills from piling up with useless plastic, get rid of those annoying digital copy discs.

Have to agree - I hate them! They offer little protection to either the discs or the artwork. Just received one like this in the mail which had torn artwork because somebody somewhere along the line had poked something through the holes! Like hilts mine go in the trash. Have to agree with Dragon Lee too - get rid of the digital copy coasters if they really want to save plastic!

Yeah, I hate these fucking things, too.

With all of the holes in them, it's way too easy to poke through the cover and ding up the artwork, especially when you're trying to take the disc out or put it back in.

I'd recycle them if I could. The eco-friendly cases do not appear to be recycleable.

I don't mind these cases if they come inside a slipcover, as that protects the cases and artwork. I have seen plenty of these cases showing up the Walmart dump bins, which can really destroy the art on some of them.

NO!!!! ARRGGGHHH!! Not thinpaks too! Soon I'll have to start replacing literally every case that I buy!! Can't they ever listen to us?! We said we hate Digital copies - so they give us more & more of them! We said we hate this "eco-(un)friendly" packaging and they are now increasing it's usage!

And, by the way a/v Junkie "there" is a place - like "over there". You meant to say that "they are = they're doing this to thinpaks too". Shocking that you used the correct too - meaning also, congratulations!

I didn't know they were converting Thinpaks either until I bought the Bruce Lee Collection recently. All were in Eco-Cases.

A friend of mine recently told me that Xbox 360 games are adopting the Eco-Cases as well.

Horrible. And to start doing them to video games now is going overboard. If PS3 game cases start going eco i'm done.

Same here. I still don't understand why do it to thinpaks.

Re: Question regarding eco friendly 2 disc/double feature cases.

Contrary to my previous yelping, these stupid things are recycleable. I noticed a recycle triangle on the outside spine of the latest case I was changing out. It's small, and they really should put it on the inside as well, but it's there. I'll recycle the damn things instead of trashing them, but it's still a stupid idea.
