Steelbook help wanted

i recently purchased some steelbooks from amazon and to my dismay, they weren't shrinkwrapped at all like before. as a result, many had the paint worn off and is plain ugly. i've written to amazon for a refund.

can anyone help me obtain a shrinkwrapped copy of the following steelbooks?

I'm pretty sure those steelbooks were never released with shrink-wrap.

yeah, there is one or two retailers that have themselves shrinked some of those first look studio steelbooks, but nothing is guaranteed. and first look studios seemingly refuses to shrink them for whatever reason.

your best bet is to find them in-store for first-hand inspection or do the purchase and return ordeal online until you are satisfied with what you get. good luck

I'm pretty sure someone here on the forum wrote to First Look to find out why exactly they don't shrink-wrap their steelbooks, and a representative e-mailed back, saying something along the lines of "we don't shrink-wrap so that people can see that they are clearly steelbooks."

Yeah, what they said. What I do is order any first look steelbooks from amazon individually. One per order. This way they each come in their own envelope or box. Never ahd a problem doing it this way. Oh, I have prime, so i dont need to worry about shipping charges.
