Re: Getting rid of all my slip covers

OK, I just got my first envelope. The propblem is I don't know who it is and what they want. Jeff from Pensacola, FL let me know who you are. Anyone else who wants covers let me know your DVDTalk name and what you're wanting in the envelope.

Also I still have a lot of slip covers left. Get 'em before my wife tosses them.

OK, it looks like we are moving at the end of the month. That means these slip covers will be tossed before the move. If you want 'em, just PM me with what you want as long as you agree to send me a self addressed, postage paid box or package I'll give you what you want for free.

I took a new (better) picture of what I have remaining:

Re: Getting rid of all my slip covers

Looks like you've already made your decision, but here's the thing to me...

If one is make sure every DVD is clearly visible on the shelf, then they want their collection as a display. If display is important, then that includes all elements of the packaging, including the slipcovers. If display wasn't important, one could put all the discs in those giant 300-Disc binders. But if it is, I'd find a way to keep the packaging intact.

FYI on the IKEA Billy bookshelves, one can buy extra shelves for inside the body and even another enclosed top shelf that screws onto the top of the unit.

Yeah, I have the extra inner shelves and it looks like I will pick up the extra top shelf.
