Slappa... worth it or not?

I just noticed that a new player has emerged in the "DVD sleeve" game... even though Slappa is a sponsor here, I'd like to see what my fellow collectors' experience has been with their products, good or bad.

I haven't spent a great deal of money on storage lately, but it's time to get back around to it again, so I want to see if Slappa might be a better alternative than something like DiscSox, for example.

My one complaint is that to fit the artwork, I had to fold the back page to make it fit into the sleeve. It doesn't bother me too much, but it would have been nice to have it fit by folding it along the existing spine crease. The case itself and the disc sleeves seem to be excellent quality.

They are about half the price of Disc Sox, so I'd recommend it if you don't mind creasing the artwork.

Wouldn't it be easier just to fold the artwork precisely in half rather than folding along a spine crease, then creating another crease in the back page? I'd rather not fold between the spine creases either, but if I got these they would probably be used for DVDs with inserts rather than using the complete cover. I assume these probably wouldn't work very well for "snapper" covers then?

I tried that first actually. I can push and squeeze it in there, but it's a little too tight and doesn't lay flat. I did only try a couple like that, so I'm not sure if all disc art has the exact same dimensions. It turned out easier just to fold the back and it won't be visible anyways. It could be a problem if you plan on reselling however.

I really don't think a snapper would fit. Just by lining it up, it looks too wide for the sleeve.

I am kind of torn. I like the Snappa, except that one negative. It's too bad the sleeves aren't about 1/2" wider.
