What do you mean? Transworld is going to have 2 steelbooks? A 1 disc & a 2 disc? Or Just a 1 disc? I could of swore when I pre ordered mine it was for a 2 disc steelbook.

I recently jumped on the Blu-Ray HD wagon. I bought myself a PS3 and a 40inch Samsung 1080p HDTV. So i really hope they start making blu-ray steelbooks!

I have over 25 steelbooks right now so i'm obviously a collector, but i just love the look of a blu ray movies so much! So im torn, my steelbook addiction wants the pretty cases but i also want the blu ray movie. I REALLY don't want to have to resort to buying the steelbook AND the blu-ray movie...

I'm also torn because i said before that i would never start buying blu ray movies since i love collecting cool special edition DVDs. I've always disliked those tiny little blu cases...

Oh well heh.

The Blu-ray / HD SteelBook inventory is still pretty small.

The ones that I have so far are:

I saw a copy of History's Shockwave and Battle 360 out early.. Shockwave comes in box that you open the top like a lid. I couldn't tell if there's a steelbook inside.. Does anyone have an early copy they can open to confirm?

Didnt mention anything about two steelbooks, I guess it got you confused on my quoted response to Scott's point of view on Steelbook design between USA & Canada.


As of now, no one knows the actual cover design of the IronMan steelbook, as what I mentioned on my previous post - "possible" Iron Man steelbook.

and even if one looks at the Futureshop Iron Man ad (and reference to howwon's post below), there is a small disclaimer there stating:

"Releases 30 Sep/08. Note: Image may not be exactly as shown."

And those HD releases are sure shot discontinued / oop

Someone has posted a copy of there reservation receipt for a R1 The Dark Knight at FYE over on another forum.

This looks to be the first official news for a R! steel for Knight.

Its there clearly printed in Page1's US Steelbook list showing that it will be a Bestbuy US exclusive and release date is August 19.

well futureshop is showing that there is a Iron Man (2-Disc Ultimate Edition) (Future Shop Exclusive Steelbook) (Blu-ray)!!! hopefully thats a 2nd steelbook bluray exclusive for canada yeah!!!!

now that is good looking cover art for a SteelBook.

I was able to pre-order it @ my local Suncoast earlier today. I also pre-ordered the steelbook for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (10/14).

According to the pre-order sheets, there is a steelbook package release. The release date is 10/14. I don't know if it's an TWEC exclusive or not.
