how are there only 200 good ones out there? the others are just really damaged on the inside? how can you even tell the figure is damaged from the outside?

im guessing xage is guessing 200. the plastic package itself if very prone to dents with a little pressure. also, the figure itself is fragile (like them rabbit ears).

but 200? i woulda guessed more like 150 max myself.

yeah, i don't buy into any site that actually spells the product wrong: Steelbook and some of those, like "Cars" doesn't look like an actual SteelBook.

it's also funny that the original price was $49.99...isn't that very expensive for a set like this. i mean it doesn't fetch too much more than that on the bay no?

also, this must have been a sell back to FYE bc the tag on it was not FYE. didn't say what it was, pretty unremarkable but digital price nonetheless. pretty amazing to go through more than one handler and not even a mark, at least not to my naked eye. i think i really made out with this mint set. xage, you would be so proud.

not sure of the market value on them - i think they up and down - but for sure mint sets are very htf at a reasonable price. or rather, its hard to find someone selling a mint set for a reasonable price.

On splash page for Get Smart's Bruce and Lloyd: Out of Control , it mentioned that it'll come in steelbook with a bonus disc with the first couple of episodes of Get Smart and a movie ticket..

I see no mention of it on the Bestbuy.ca website or flyer, so it looks like it might be a US Bestbuy exclusive.

I think I might be going next week and might order it for instore pickup.. In Canada, Bestbuy doesn't charge your card for the full amount, they just put a $1 authorization.. I asked about instore pickup in the US and the clerks assured me I'm not charged until I pick up the product.. But my friend is pretty sure he was charged the full amount when he placed an instore order before..

That's fine as he has a US$ credit card, but we loose out on the exchange if I can't make it to pick it up or decided I don't want it anymore.. Can someone that used instore pickup confirm when the card is charged?

First off, where did you find this? Did anyone else know about this steelbook, or do I just not pay any attention? Good find, I really want this one.

To your question - I've never used the in-store pickup but from what I know, I think you pay at pickup. I'm not sure, and could be wrong, but it would make sense, so that way if you didn't want it or changed your mind, they could just stock it in store. It makes sense to me lol. If you can't get answers here, call your local Best Buy and ask (though I can't guarantee that will get results either, you never know). I know that is a really vague answer, sorry about that. Good luck though!

As for your BB online order store pickup question, here's the jist of it. When you order, it will charge your credit card, once store confirms your order is ready. However if you DO NOT pick up within 8 days, system will automatically credit back to your credit card. If anyone else's experience is different, please correct/add info :)

Yeah, I think I'll call to make sure how their instore pick up work.. When they make a US$ charge to a Canadian credit card, they charge the conversion and an extra 2.X% fee.. I found I can't really get that fee refunded by the CC company if I make a return.. I suppose it's not a huge deal, but I rather not pay anything if it doesn't turn out to be a steelbook when I pick it up or can't make it at all to pick it up..
