They started to change the design when they started to release it with the regular DVD case side by side starting with The Jungle Book.
The Little Mermaid was a give away extra at the counter. I posted a link on the old thread when The Jungle Book was being release.. It's almost the same as the regular DVD cover except the move the text where the UPC code is. I suppose it's wasn't suppose to be scanned as you got handed to you at checkout.. The reason I ask is because this is a Warner Bros. title, and history confirms all Warner Bros. Exclusive steelbook have been at BestBuy. Ok for all those that are still unsure about FYE Iron Man steelbook, I can CONFIRM that yes, there will be an FYE exclusive Iron Man steelbook coming out September/October (exact date not sure yet).
Here is the FYE Iron Man Steelbook SKU: 400258700071 $5.00 If anyone has issues with their local FYE, tell them to look up that SKU in the system. On your reservation receipt, it will state it is a STEELBOOK. |
God I'm praying daily that the cover of the "Iron Man" SteelBook will be the one posted previously. I'm going to be very upset if it's some other lame picture. The bar has been set very high. This better not be another "Sweeney Todd" case... :(.

Does anyone know if Appleseed Ex Machina 2-disc only came in a steelbook version?
Or is there a non-steelbook version around as well? I want to order it, but don't want to get stuck with the wrong version. TIA! |

Appleseed Ex Machina was released as a 2-Disc steelbook and a regular case 1-Disc, but the studio have release the next batch of Appleseed ExMachina 2-Disc in a regular Case. I have seen this at Best Buy. They have both version on the shelves. They of course did it with RoboCop and the Rambo Tin Case this week. Hope that helps...yes, I would be careful ordering. |
