Do those X-Files sets come with slipcovers? Or are they simply three slimcases in a box, similar to the latest season of 24.

They are simply three slimcases in a box. I don't know if they still have the booklet that the original "collector's editions" had. I'm assuming not since I don't see a booklet sitting in the box, and since there are two discs per slimcase, I assume they couldn't fit the booklet in there.

Don't forget they are also missing the 7th bonus disc included when the season sets were originally released.

Oh its so much fun thinking about how I payed 150 bucks for each of the Collector Sets, and now they are 20 bucks! Granted the packaging is much cooler on the Collector Sets.

IIRC diddnt the 7th disc have the last ep of the season on it and the bonus features? And again no on the booklet, just synposis of the eps on the back of each slim case.

i know for season 2, disc 7 had one episode on it. i think for the rest of the seasons, the final disc was pretty much exclusively reserved for special features. so i dunno how they handled s2. anyone care to share? i assume they just added on the episode to disc 6.
