For anyone here who has bought the second printing of the Brazil 3-Disc CC set from DVDPlanet recently, can you tell me if the sets they sell now come with the insert for the first disc? I remember reading back when the second printing first came out(Sept. 2006), the sets sold at DVDPlanet were missing one of the inserts, so I just want to make sure the problem has been fixed now before I order it from them(they won't respond to my emails).

I bought my copy at BEST BUY, and it also has no insert for the first disc. I'm sure it's possible that the first disc simply has no insert, but if anyone knows where a Disc 1 insert can be obtained, please post the info here.

Thanks for the responses. There is supposed to be an insert for the first disc. You can read about it at criterionforum.com. Several people have said that they emailed Criterion with their shipping address and received the insert, but that was back in September 2006. If you email them, could you let me know if they send it to you?

Well, you could always e-mail them yourself, but I'll give it a go. That really sucks.

EDIT: They have a phone number listed on their site. Just click on the "Support & Feedback" link in the top-right corner, then click on "Known Problems". I just called them, and I'll try to remember to post when the booklet arrives.

yeah, i got mine at a local hastings and it did infact come with an insert for all three discs. will criterion mail you inserts for any of the titles? is it free?

You can't just claim to be missing an insert and have them send one to you, but if it's something like Brazil where they know there was a problem with inserts, they don't seem to require proof of purchase. I simply left my name and number at the phone number listed on the website. I'll have to wait and see if anything happens.

There are several "known problems" listed, but I don't know how many involve inserts. There is also an e-mail address and/or phone number to report other issues.
