Still haven't been able to find one near me. They're all sold out. But I've been waiting a lomg time for this DVD, and I guess I can wait a little longer. I'm starting to wish I hadn't sold my old OOP copy a few months back, because now I'm really jonesing to watch it!

At least this one seems so anyway. But that's the biggest drawback to collecting pretty much anything in a big city... with so many people around, I have to get to stores within the first few hours to pickup small release DVD's before they sell out. I rarely ever pre-order new releases online, because often first week B&M prices are cheaper, and movies sometimes come with exclusives that I wouldn't want to miss out on by ordering from DDD. But this time I really screwed myself.

I found my new copy at Borders Books....but they had only one copy in. Not that they sold the others...it was the ONLY one they had, period.

I looked up this DVD at Amazon.com
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000FIHNAC
and it appears that they are no longer selling it directly. The only way to buy it is through their Marketplace Used&New sellers. What's up with that? It's a relatively brand new release.

Well, I finally got a copy tonight at a Best Buy. They called me to let me know they got them in (I had a raincheck). When I got there, they had 4 copies, two of which had floaters in them. They happened to be the first 2 I picked up, and I got really pissed because I thought all 4 were going to be messed up again. But luckily, the second two were fine, and I FINALLY got a copy without loose discs or broken plastic hubs inside. Luckily, I didn't have the glue problem some have mentioned... the glue came right off and didn't discolor the packaging at all.
I have never had so much trouble buying a DVD.
