Friends Box Offer?

Does anyone know if there for sure will be an offer inside Friends Season 10 to order the collection box seperately? Or should I unload all my other seasons and buy the Limited Edition box? Thanks...

'Fans who have already been collecting the DVDs need not be upset over the special packaging, though! Warner Home Video is very nicely making it available for consumers to get via a mail-in offer, which will be promoted inside all new copies of Friends, including The Complete 10th Season. That offer is mentioned in the press release below, which Warner has very kindly sent over for us to share with our readers. There are also other consumer offers, including with the PlayStation 2 game Friends: The One With All The Trivia. Check out the better pic of the box that many readers have been suggesting we post, and then read the complete text of the press release for all the details. '

This was on tvshows on dvd when the set was announced. I bought season ten today and it had no mention or insert for ordering the box separately. I was hoping someone else would know. I would be extremely pissed off If there was not an offer to get the box for people who had bought the seasons separately, especially since, overall we've shelled out more money to complete the series than somneone who just buys the box set. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!!

I saw the box today and it is very nice indeed -- very heavy and sturdy with a glass front that opens up like the glass doors on an entertainment center. I hope we have the opportunity to get this.

Freshticles, there is a new announcement on tvshowsondvd.com that says Canadians didn't get the offer in their DVD sets today, but there is a Warner number to call. The cost in U.S. for the box is $20 ($10 for the box and $10 for shipping) and in Canada is 45.50. I think it's very well made and very well worth it for those who are interested. And you only need to send in the coupon for the box set, no receipt is necessary.

That's insane...their screw-up and they can't fix it??...I'm returning my set as defective and I'm going to keep opening sets until I get the offer.

I wanted the box, but I do not think I am willing to pay $20 for it. Too bad those of us who supported these releases as they came out are the ones who get screwed.

I was getting ready to order my box tonight and was reading over the coupon. I may be missing it, but I don't see anywhere that tells you who to make the check out to.

Nice how those who've bought the seasons through the years as they've been released get stuck having to pay $20 for the box while those Johnny-come-latelys get to feast on a full series package at a reduced price + free box.

Could've been worse. WB could have decided not to make the box available to the older customers at all. Oh well...

Very very true. I would have been burnt if that happened.

I'm not bothered by the 20 dollar price tag. For some reason i was expecting the box to cost over 50 bucks. Actually thinking about it now.....man, imagine the outrage if that was the price tag.

Awesome...I emailed the address I was told to email in Canada and still no response...way to treat customers ...especially ones that have shelled out much more money on buying the season dvds individually...anyone know of a number to call??

Pneutin:
I didn't get a flyer in my Season 10 set that I bought from a Sam's Club this weekend. I called the 866 number from tvshowsondvd.com and the WB rep took my name and address over the phone. They will be sending out order forms for the wooden box in mid-December.
