So Best Buy is the only place with the free movie ticket? How do you know which ones have them?

I just wanted to make sure before I go there tomorrow. It's about a 30 minute drive from my house...
|
IF they have any left. I had to look through 20 copies to find one witha ticket (There will be a sticker inficating a free ticket)

Thanks.

Does anyone know what the new CANADIAN version of Saw is like?
same dvd? same packaging? same blood pack etc... ? as its much cheaper and if its identical then its ok, but if the blood pack is gone and its got changed features then it may not be worth it, and the draded multilanguage packaging may be present too :( |
I'm from Ontario, Canada and the package looks identical to what has been posted. No bilingual artwork. The features are the same as well. I payed like 18 something at Walmart which is good.
|
Sick freakin' case, saw it today at Coconuts.
Do all of them come with ticket to see SAW 2? Or is it in select stores? Like if I buy it off DDD, would it come with the ticket? If so, awesome deal |
the ticket is only included if you buy it at best buy I believe.
|
Lions Gate titles are bilingual free and will always be just for the simple fact that Lions Gate distribution is split-up for Quebec and the rest of Canada. Crystal Films distributes in Quebec with French dubs and covers while Maple Pictures distributes to the rest with English only audio and artwork.

Saw: Uncut Edition...WORST packaging ever.
I bought this today. The one I got was the last copy at Wal-Mart...the only place I could buy it from. It looks like some of the 'blood' has dried and streaked on the cover in a bright pink color. Once I unwrapped the case, it tried taking off the security label, which was tough, because it was so thin and left gooey residue on the top of the case. Taking off the cardboard backing left glue on the back of the case. After all of that, I carefully tried to open the case, but that didn't work, because part of the side of the case cracked. What was LGF thinking when they designed this thing? I don't think I'm ever buying a DVD in a super jewel box ever again!
|
I feel the same way. My case was in one piece but the hub was so tight that it had cracked the disc in the center. I have a replacement on it's way to me. When I get it, I'm going to take the discs out once, store them in something else and put the Saw Uncut case away. Those jewel box things are horrible.

isn't having another thread overkill?

Wow. I guess this packaging inspires some strong responses. See this thread:

On its 1st week of release, its priced at $16.99 and take off the $12 Movie Ticket its like $5 overall (again at BestBuy Stores Only) Well this offer of Bestbuy sure did help at SAW's opening weekend at the boxoffice! it skyrocketed at $30 Million |
I guess those who said its the WORST.. then they are sourgraping losers who end up buying a LEMON version.
Its their freedom to express their disgruntlement.. yet they spent $$$ for it.... |
I assume they spent money because they liked the movie, not the packaging. And if the packaging [a relatively meaningless portion of the item] actually *damages* the product that will be used [the disk], I can definitely see some complaining.
