free cases with cover art/insert available in RI

Hello,

I was just wondering if anybody was interested in some free cases that lived in the vicinity of RI. As of now they have the cover art and insert (if it came with one). My friend was throwing them out so I thought I would keep them and see if anybody needed them. I would be willing to drop a bunch off if it was somewhere near my place of emploment (in Bristol, RI), near my house in South County, RI or my brother in Bristol, CT - although I probably only go up once a month or so. If nobody wants a bunch I would be willing to send them out individually if you covered the cost of shipping. I would estimate that there are 200-250 cases. I may go through and start listing which dvd's they are for this weekend, although there is no guarantees.

I apologize if this is not the right forum but it looked like it would be.

Very cool of you to do that. It would help a bunch to know which cases you actually have. Or maybe instead of listing each one you can stack them to where we can see the spine and snap a few pics of them.

Thanks again.

Buddy - That's what I will probably end up doing - snapping a few pics, but I'll probably list them as well since the lighting in my bedroom is rather sketchy. All I know is the kid liked a lot of weird horror movies and I have no idea what half of them are.

I took some pics and will post them tomorrow if I can figure out how to shrink them since they are much too large to post on the forum as attachments. Probably would take a decent amount of time for anyone on a 56k and I will try to avoid that.

I'm not able to post attachments - not sure how many posts one needs for that - so I may just make a list after all. Willh51 - I don't recall seeing Hero when I was taking pictures last night.

I would definitely be interested in some as well, especially if these include some digipak cases.

ENDContra - there are probably few digipaks, although I will definitely hold off as long as possible before I send them out individually/small groups to see if someone local wants to take a majority of them off my hands. I'm holding off writing a manual list of them since it will be a pain, but will eventually.

I could use some cases and digipacks also.

Thanks for your offering them.

Holy crap! I'm in if you ever do this. I'll take anything you don't want to trash or throw away.
Hell, I live about 3 minutes from Bristol, CT.

Hey Tidwell,

I'll be in Bristol on September 6th, possibly the 5th as well, as me and a few others are driving down to see my Astros spank the Phillies that day and meeting at my brother's house. Let me know if you want to meet up somewhere. My brother lives about 5 minutes or so from ESPN.

Frenzal,

Off the top of my head I know there are a few of them - two of the Blade movies, Requiem for a Dream, American History X, possibly the Austin Power movies..probably 3 or so others as well. I'll probably wait to see what Tidwell wants to do as I don't feel like sending out a few at time if I can avoid it, and even if he doesn't want them I'll probably wait a while to see if someone else does.

Well I'll pay for shipping, that's for sure!!! So you have nothing to lose, I'll also send extra money if you need it

I'd really like to get my hands on those, and is your Requiem for a Dream the Director's Cut?, and American History X and Austin Powers those are the real cases right not the cheap snapper if you know what I mean.

How about any of these:

Damien: Omen II
Firestarter
North by Northwest (keepcase, not snapper)
Tomorrow Never Dies
American Graffiti
The Fog
Aliens (original DVD, not 2-Disc CE)
Total Recall (keepcase, not tin)
The Bridge on the River Kwai (2-Disc LE, keepcase)
Jason X
American Pie 1 (Unrated CE)

If you happen to have any of those, I'll not only pay for all your s/h, but I'll throw in a few bucks to make it worth your while.

Adam,

The 5th or 6th sounds great. Let me know whatever you choose. Even if you just have a few left, I'll take 'em off your hands.
We could meet anywhere close by to your brothers house. I'm only about 10-15 mins from ESPN myself...
