Nope, it didn't have one. I have it myself. It also had no insert, just an ad for other Sony titles.

The ones on sale now dont have them, but i believe when it first came out it did.

Nope, the first one that came out didnt have a slipcover either.

They only one that does is the Region 3 superbit edition.

is this movie worth checking out the R3 superbit version? I've never seen any version and was thinking of picking it up.

I have seen no reviews of the title (superbit), but the regular and director's cut version (I have the latter) have already near reference quality picture and sound. I am suprised that this hasnt been released as a superbit in R1 yet. I cant imagine what improvements could be made in A/V, but I would ask around on the forums (and at HTF) to see if anyone has any thoughts.
