looking for a way to made cover smaller,

can any one help me, need to find a way to made dvd cover smaller , so that it only fit on the top in the center of the labels. i have seen it done , and think it's a good way not to use so much ink. u can still see the what movie it is .

Is the person just saying that he wants to just print out the spine? I'd say cropping is what he needs to do in that case.

I don't have a clue. I took it that he/she wanted to shrink the cover down to some small size and position it in the top center of the blank template to save ink, leaving the rest white.

yes ,that is what i would like to do , only in the center and leaveing the rest white. Joliom.

Arrrgh.. grammer!

Anyway, the way I read it was copy the Title from a dvd cover for a dvd label.

Yes, please post a sample. Because I'm still not sure why you wouldn't want to just print the spine and leave the front and back blank (that's the preferred method for those looking to save ink).
