Quick question about the case for Se7en

Their are a few small dents on the slipcover of my copy I just got. Is that supposed to be like to worn edges (to give it a beat up look) or just damage from shipping?

is it the special 2 disk edition? If so, I believe it's supposed to look worn for effect, but feel smooth. (if that makes any sense)
