The Rock Criterion - Slipcase/sleeve

Does anyone know if the Rock Criterion DVD came in a slipcase/sleeve? They now come in the double clamshell cases, but I seem to recall it had different packaging before..

I bought it when it was first released and don't recall a sleeve or extra cover...just the double wide amray.

There was never a slipcase for The Rock. The packaging is still the same as when it was first released.

Same here. No slipcase. I preordered mine before it came out.

Yeah, similar case like naked lunch, and fear and loathing with the "double pack".

Are you sure there's no slipcase?

1. No.
2. If in doubt, re-read (1).

We need to let this thread slip away. No slip cover on my copy either.

no slipcase. In fact, I don't think any studio has given a slipcase for a double amaray case.

Criterion did for The Royal Tenenbaums and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I think Videodrome might have had one too.

I can verify that Videodrome does have a slipcover.

But the Rock doesn't.

Yes, I'm completely sure. I have it my hand right now and I just checked on a local Borders tonight by coincidence. It doesn't have a slipcover and never had one. Neither does Armaggeddon for that matter. If anyone doesn't believe me, then go to www.criterionco.com and check or email the company about it.
