back cover text
While I may not make covers of the quality of many of you!! I am happy with most of the covers that I have created with the exception of one thing..
How do you get such sharp back cover text that is less than 6pt yet is so readable when printed?!?!?
Since it looks like I am not active enough on this site to be allow to access some of the other sites spoke of here...
I am trying to make covers for many of my self-recorded [DVD+R] TV shows and when I try to put a listing of the episodes on the back cover with short description of each show...
I just can not get the text to be readable on the back cover ... even if it is just color text on a solid background.
So what is the trick you masters use??

You could try hitting it with an unsharp mask or embossing the text, that might help some. You might want to play around with the type of font and bolding options first, though. But in all honesty, 6 point is just way too small. 6 point in PSP is almost unreadable - I don't know if it's different with other programs or not - but 12 pt. in PSP is the preferrable option for the small copyright/legal text.

May moons and sunrised ago...
A professional artist had posted a hint on getting great print outs by using the "UN-SHARP MASK" feature of "Photo Shop"....
The settings were something like 88-55-88
But I misplaced the note and can not seem to find the original message?
Can anybody here help point to the message??
