Searching for a replacement for www.DVDCoverart.com

Hi,
I’m new here but I was hoping for some help. I recently heard about www.DVDCoverart.com but by the time I visited the site Disney had shut it down.

I was wondering if someone here could send me the following covers from that site.

Blade Runner
The Time Machine
Forbidden Planet
Independence Day (2 Disc)
Escape from New York (2 Disc)
Beauty and the Beast (2 Disc)
20,000 Leagues under the Sea (2 Disc)

Could someone please recommend a good alternative?

Thanks

you can try:

http://daprogger.mine.nu/

or

http://www.cdcovers.cc/covers.php (although these are low res)

Da Progger has my custom of 20,000 Leagues on it, but I didn't upload it there.

Dagon seriously frowns upon people linking to the site. I'm sure he would appreciate it if you lose the link. It is okay to recommend "the Den," but posting links goes against his terms of service when you sign up. He just doesn't want what happened to DVDCA to happen to him.

Plus remember at the Den there are no scans of covers, just customs. Plus, no covers for titles owned by MGM or Disney (or any of its subsidiaries, liek Miramax or Touchstone or Pixar).

Wow, thanks joliom I really appreciate this.
My e-mail is [email protected] it’s broadband so it’s quite quick.

Thanks slateef for recommending cdcover, but I’m looking for Hi res.
Was DVDCA the only place on the net that supplied Hi res images?

Thanks

Hi joliom,
I got your e-mail. Thanks, those are great sites and now I understand why it was so difficult to find good scan sites.

I didn’t get any of the scans you mentioned. This is the first time I’ve tried to download something from an e-mail so maybe I’m doing something wrong. Let me know.

Thanks

I'd be grateful for that link also. I've been looking around for months, and can't find much anymore.

When you open the email you ought to see an attachment - just the name of the file (usually if you put the cursor on it, it turns into a finger). Then just right click on it and select 'Save Target As' and it should begin copying the file into whatever location on your computer you select.

yoda55, I sent you one of the covers again. See if you have more success with that one, and if so, I'll send the rest along.

hi, I am new here and was a big supporter for dvdca.com and now that I am back home from from military leave, I found out that dvdca.com is gone for good. Where else can I find some good artwork, and what the helk is the den? daprogger seems pretty cool but the artwork opens up so huge, is that normal and if I just hit print on my pc, will it print out a normal size cover case or do I need some sort of template to paste it in before I hit print.
thanks

OK, I've googled all kinds of key words for the den. Could someone send me a email or pm of this site? Thanks.

Wow, now that just can't be true. I googled the title, which someone said here some posts ago, and it came up as the first link. Plus, there are even links to it in the One and Only Artists of DVDtalk thread that link to it. Those links have been there since september of 03.

So when people say that Dagon doesn't like people linking to it, then maybe he should go edit his post in that thread.

I mentioned this contradiction on the forums of his site as well. It's like, he and other well known artists are guilty of doing what they don't want others to do. Must be no body read my post on the den...maybe one of them will read it here.
