I printed the covers out put the disks into a thinpak case with the Bar code on the back it looks store bought. Placed to gether it looks fantastic except for the 4th cover but then there is plenty of time to finish it. In my other post I mentioned perhaps the black woman that set next to Jack in the plane and Deniel the french woman on the island. Can't think of anyone else.

Just for information, it is not playing in the UK yet but all my friends think that this is the best show released in recent times and it will be interesting to watch when it goes head to head on May 25th with the finale I believe America's top model or some other reallity show.

Thanks again for your loving efforts to make this show a pride to have.

Right. I know who I want on the cover, I just can't find a high enough quality image.

Thanks for the compliment.

Yep. Cover 4 is done except for the 2 photos on the front. I can post it later. I skipped Special on my set, so I might have to do 2 covers for those that actually want this episode.

I've even searched through every movie William Mopather(Ethan) has been in just to grab an image close to what would work for Lost. Since he isn't a superstar I haven't had any luck.

Michael,

Again thanks for your efforts and the checking of this forum for requests. As I remember you had ideas about the remaining two pictures but didn't find any highres pictures. Take your time because it is nice to have the complete set but we have time. For those that want the complete spine look I guess posting the cover as is will satisfy them.

My opinion on the Special and it is shared here in the forum is a total waste. It was 42 minutes of rehash with only the preview of the next episode being of any interest. Most dissapointing and a milking of an excellent show nothing else.

Have a good one.

Thanks a bunch Michael,
I too am not worries about tha 'speacial' as it was just as said, milking the series.I think it may have been a way to 'refresh' our memories since they had so many damn reruns as of late.

On the issue of William Mapother,I did a google image search, and really nothing large can be found.Yahoo and Altavista images served up the same.
Maybe looking for images from the movie 'The Gruge' would help?

In any event,I look forward to the rest!

The Grudge was my best bet too, but the only decent pic I found had him in a suit and tie. Not really "Lost" worthy.

Anyone else? Keep those eyes peeled!

Michael,
I keep forgetting to ask this....
Your DVD labels, what template did you make them off?
I use the TDK CD and DVD Labeling Kit and they didnt fit right when using that software to print them.
Are yours from the CD STOMPER template?

Yep. I didn't notice that until I finally printed them a few weeks back. I had to scale them up about 10%. Not sure how my template got off though. Normally I wouldn't scale up, but 10% isn't bad, and I have printed results and they look fine. I just need to go back and adjust them for d/l.

Thanks Michael,
I was trying to center them and they just would come out right, but didnt think to decrease size.
On another note, were you able to get good images of 'Ethan' from the links I gave you?
I went through the 3 shows he was on and found quite a few that may work out for you.

The problem with those is that they are screencaps. The site has increased the size of their "grabs" but they are still too small to use for anything other than the back images. That being said, I grabbed one and tinkered with it and put it on there anyway. As soon as I can find one of Danielle, I will print it and see if they look decent enough to pass.

I promise I will try and post a preview sometime today.

Honestly Michael, that doesnt look bad at all.Although it is just a sample at a small resolution,I think it should be ok.

Regarding 24: Why 4 episodes per disk instead of 3?

Going from Extended to Super Long Play (to accommodate the extra episode) bumps it from 2537 kbps to 1691 kbps.

Well, I may make it available but I printed it out a few minutes ago and I'm not satisfied with the quality. I really wish I could find some good shots of them.

So who still wants it and who wants to wait?

Hey Michael...I have some thoughts about your covers.

First, I have a great pic of Ethan that I think should print out fine. You can find it at (Edit: Image link removed)

You just have to ad the little fade into the LOST image on the bottom. Let me know if it prints out in good quality...I'm pretty sure it should, as it looks just as good as the image of Charlie.

Which brings me to my second point. Just as I was playing around seeing if my ethan pic was high res enough, I put him on the cover with Locke, Claire, and Charlie. SO basically I put Ethan over Hurley. My thought behind this is that Ethan's story arch ties so closely to claire and charlie, and putting him on the coverart for discs 7&8 is a bit odd because he's been dead for like 6 episodes already. And on the 7&8 coverart on the back, is that a pic of ethan with a gun over the person in the mud? Seems a bit odd for that picture too because Ethan is dead already. Yes, Ethan's not one of the main 14 but still, I just thought he fit better there. Also, you'll notice that my image of Ethan has him not looking evil and scratched up, so it doesn't spoil anything.

And the bonus is that if you move hurley to the cover with Danielle, it makes sense, because he story (so far at least) ends when she talks with Hurley.

Anyway, just some thoughts and such, let me know about that image.
