Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2 Custom

I put together a custom amaray cover to hold both Kill Bill Volumes 1 & 2. The front is inspired by the Japanese Volume 1 DVD, but I used a different picture of Uma. The back is completely custom, using info and pictures from both films. If I get enough positive feedback, I'll put a hi-res version up for download.

Please let me know what you think. This cover is for the Region 1 DVDs.

-Greg

Not bad. Personally, if I were going to do a consolidated package for both, I'd just call it "Kill Bill" without the "Vol. 1 & 2", to emphasize that it is one movie.

Yeah Josh....I thought about that. It would be easy to take out.

Anybody else feel the same?

Looks good but Uma's head looks a little strange on the cover. Probably the picture.

Am I the only one who has noticed that the suit she is wearing at that cover (and the original US Vol 1 cover) is not the suit she wears in the movie? That wearing butterfly looking part is not on the suit in the movie...you can tell becasue of a scene were she flips around fighting Go-go.

I know it's a nitpick, but still, I find it odd.

I'd have to watch the movie more closely, but it's very possible that they had multiple suits in use for different shots, depending on what type of action they had to perform in it.

Yeah, I agree. It's not the best photo of her. I prefer the one Miramax used, which is a similar pose but her hair looks better and her head's not at a weird angle.

Isn't that just the jacket she was wearing over the shirt we see her fighting in later? At least that's what I thought.....

Anyways....thanks for the comments. I'll put up a hi-res version in the next couple days!

I'd leave it actually the way you had it, cause when you'd open the case, you'd see 2 discs. 1 that says Vol 1 and the other obviously that says 2.

So I'd leave it the way you 1st had it. =)

Speaking of Kill Bill, has anyone heard from the author that did the Quentin Tarantino Collection? I'd love Kill Bill covers that fit in with all my others:

I appreciate your comments. It's one of those cases where 50% like it one way, 50% like it the other way.

I like it the way it is w/ vol 1 and 2 since it is two sep. discs. But you could do both so ppl can chose the one they want to use.
