Just bought the new collectors edition of "The Thing" and I noticed their is a pocket in the interior packaging. Was some kind of book or insert suppose to be there? Mine didn't have one. It seems odd to have a pocket with no book or scene selection insert. Has anyone else noticed this?

There was a pocket for in insert on the complete Conan Quest thingy, but no insert....maybe the same here....bummer! Universal!

No it's not missing one, it's Universal. Just to warn you though there is an insert thread somewhere, don't want someone to start freaking out about this not being in that. I really don't care, just thought I'd give you a heads up.

Too bad there is no insert though, a blank pocket looks kind of stupid. I do like the case though.

I saved the insert from my original CE before selling it on Half.com .

Just got mine from Amazon. Alas, no insert as well

I also saved the the insert before selling my old version. With the studio being Universal and knowing they had stopped producing inserts, I knew this wasn't going to re-appear. What's nice is that it is not a simple one-sheet insert with chapter listings but a nice multi-panel fold-out with original poster art along with some nice photos and production notes related to the movie.

Got mine from BB, same thing no insert.
