Can you help provide these DVD covers?
I guess since DVDCA is down, we should post our needs in here and hope someone has them. I've got over 2.5GB of 300 DPI scans and customs. If you'll post your needs in here and I have them, I'll get them to you via IM, Email, IRC something. Ok, here are the covers I've yet to find (hi-res only please).
Animal House
Final Countdown
Glengarry Glen Ross
Green Mile
Gross Anatomy
Immortal Beloved
Intolerable Cruelty
John Denver: Wildlife Concert
Kill Bill vol. 1
Love Story
Mona Lisa Smiles
Mr. Smith Goes To Washington
Open Range
Radio
Runaway Jury
Rundown, The
Schindler's List
Seabiscuit (I have one someone sent, thank you for doing that.)
Steel Magnolias
The Day After
The Doctor
The Missing
Unbreakable
X-Men 2
I'm hoping to shorten this list somewhat. Thanks for your help.

I have a really nice Unbreakable Vista Series custom. And I also have a nice Green Mile custom that I downloaded from DCA. What are the limits on your email?

Here is an Animal House custom I did for the Double Secret Probation Edition:

The only difference between this preview and the final version is the text where the special features are is white instead of black.
I used johnf14's custom for the front cover, and inserted it into the Universal template.

You guys rule!
Is AOL a good way to share? I think my email limit is 1-2MB, so that doesn't sound like an option. I also have Yahoo and MSN Messenger.

How about this?
Do any of you read or post to newsgroups?
If so, I'm one of the posters in alt.binaries.pictures.cd-covers
Could you post in there? If not, shoot me an email and we'll
work something out. Thanks!

soonerfann, if you give me step-by-step instructions on how to post to the alt.binaries.pictures.cd-covers newsgroup, I'll add those 2 covers you want.

Did you have any luck getting ahold of any of the others? I have Mr. Goes to Washington, Open Range, and Kill Bill Vol. 1 in my collection that I could scan for you. I also have X-Men 2, but the cover is reflective so it won't scan very well.

Posting to News
In order to post to a newsgroup you have to know the domain of the news server of your ISP. My ISP is Cox, so my news domain is news.central.cox.net. If you know the news server domain, I would suggest using a program called XNews. It will guide you through setting up the server name and then I can get you through the rest or we can send them via mIRC or AOL file sharing.
I sure appreciate all of your help. I'm trying so hard to get all of these done. I'm so tired of not having replacement covers for these discs!

Pay careful attention to the title, compare to other versions, you will see that the drop shadow is different and the style of the words 'National Lampoon's' above the title proper are also different than any other version. Thats because I created this title by hand. I also reworked the front image so the colors are brighter than the original source (the first Universal DVD edition).
JoeyOhhh just lifted my work, added the Universal studio style stuff and calls the work his.

I apologize about leaving your name out john, I did lift the front off of your custom.
I'll edit my previous post to reflect that.

In fact I rework the titles on about 95% of the covers I do. Aside from looking crisper a secondary advantage is that I can always spot my own work.

custom covers
Hi soonerfan,
I have custom covers of some of the films on your list. I'll be happy to send them if you want customs instead of scans
of Intolerable Cruelty, Kill Bill Vol.1, Rundown, Runaway Jury, The Missing, Unbreakable and Seabiscuit.
BTW I am looking for a scan or custom of Diabolique (the Sharon Stone version). The one I got was of low quality. Thanks to anyone who has this cover.

Love to have them flipn
Do you know how to use IRC, Instant messenger or Newsgroups?
This is the only way we're going to be able to transfer the hi-res files. You may email me at [email protected] and let me know which one is easiest for you.

custom covers
Heya soonerfann, I'm unable to send the covers thru my hotmail. I will use AOL. I do not do IRC anymore. Not sure about IM. If you don't get them tonight......you will soon. Somehow AOLnet mail's attach option is not working...

soonerfan, did you have any luck with AOL IM? If that is working out as a viable means of sending covers, I can give that a try to send you those covers you wanted. I just need some basic instructions on how to proceed.

Do you have any good replacement covers for Evil Dead II, Hellraiser, and Hellraiser II? My LE tins of Evil Dead II and Hellraiser won't fit in my new DVD storage shelf and I'd really don't like having to keep them in a seperate place. http://www.myprivateparts.net/ had some awesome cover art for all three movies but they're no longer available for downloading.
