Shrek 2 doesn't have an insert-just a small coupon flyer.
Oldboy has two inserts-one is a chapter listing and the other's a catalog listing of other Tartan titles.

Seconded. It doesn't, just Goblet of Fire does, and first two were digipacks.

"The West Wing" Season Four booklet?

I know a lot of DVDTalk members complained when "The West Wing" Season Four shipped without a booklet. I never found out if a booklet was supposed to be included or was intentionally missing to cut down on costs. Season One - Three had lovely booklets detailing all the episodes.

Thanks for that info, SBJ.

Anyone got inserts and the slipcover for Oldboy Tartan R1 they might be willing to dispose of?

Does the The Office: Season 1 (UK BBC Series) come with a slipcover? It's in a digipack case and I'm not sure if mine is missing or if it didn't come with one.

My copy didn't come with a slipcover. However, I got my copy through Columbia House and they are notorious for not including slipcovers.

Mine came from Columbia House as well, so I guess it didn't come with a slipcover. I looked all over the house for the slipcover before it dawned on me that it might not have come with a slipcover.

Yes, mine did. Bought from canadian online retailer as a bundle with S2 and The Xmas Special. All three had slipcases. Mind you these were when it was first released.

Does the Oliver Stone collection come with a book. I just picked it up and there was nothing. I read that there is a booklet, but when I called the hotline they claimed there was no insert.

Once Warner started putting the proof of purchase tabs on the back cover of their DVD cases, they stopped creating chapter inserts for their single- and 2-disc titles. The same thing happened with Universal, Dreamworks, and Paramount -- once they put proof of purchase tabs on the back cover of the DVD case, no more chapter inserts (Sony still has inserts to hold the proof of purchase tabs, but they don't put chapter listings on them anymore). So far, it seems that Fox and Disney are the only ones that still do chapter inserts (and even Fox has been iffy with doing chapter inserts for each movie they release and Disney went through that cost-cutting measure in 2003 where they didn't do chapter inserts for a certain period).

But I'm curious to see if both editions of X-Men 3: The Last Stand will have an insert. (If Fox didn't do one for their standard widescreen version, then I'm positive they'll have one for the Collector's Edition, which I'll be getting.)

A little late in a reply, but my copy did not come with a slipcover and I bought it the very first day that it was released.

It seems that I'm going to have to ask this question again *sigh*
- Does both editions of "X-Men 3: The Last Stand" have a chapter insert, or not?

Can someone help me out with the slipcovers on the releases of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles original series? Here's what I know for sure:

Volume 1: Has slipcover packaged inside the shrinkwrap
Volume 2: No slipcover
Volume 3: ?
Volume 4: ?
Volume 5: Has lenticular slipcover outside the shrinkwrap

Can anyone fill me in on Volumes 3 and 4 (or correct me on the others, but I'm 99% sure of them)?

Thanks much.

Is it just me, or does it seem like there are WAY more new releases without chapter inserts than with them? I notice 20th Century Fox usually does the most inserts, but other than that, they're getting really cheap in that department.

Grudge-I have the unrated version and there's only an ad for other Sony titles(Identity for one)

Harry Potter-I have the 2 disc version and there's no slipcover

Hulk-No slipcover

T3-No slipcover

I purchased all of these DVDs right when they came out(the first production run) and none of them were purchased through Columbia House.

Before anyone asks, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest DOES have an insert, at least in the single-disc version.

Thank you kindly.

I found the answers to most of the ones I listed above (placed the answers in bold for future reference) minus the following.

De-Lovely (insert) MGM
Fahrenheit 9/11 (insert) Columbia Tri-Star (has slipcover)
Forgotten, The (insert) Columbia Tri-Star
Grudge, The (rated) (insert) Sony

The Forgotten has a slipcover but the insert is an ad. The Grudge (rated) also has a slipcover, but the insert is an ad.
