Inserts?
 

Can anyone tell me if these two are supposed to have inserts?

Law & Order: SVU - The Fifth Year
Monk - Season 2

I looked through the thread before posting, and the best I could find was that Universal is not big on inserts. Both of these sets are Universal sets. I bought them yesterday (two different stores) and just found it odd that neither had an insert. But both have a flap thing to hold one. And earlier seasons came with a booklet. So I'm just not sure.

Does PHANTOM OF THE OPERA 2 disc special have an inset?

probably not. Warner Bros is another company that doesn't have inserts anymore :(

Mine didn't and I have the single disc full screen version. I guess none of the versions have it. >.<

nope, Universal titles don't come with inserts anyone (occassionally they will have advertisements which the Hulk did).

this isn't surprising. Ever since Paramount started putting the Proof-of-Purchase tabs above the UPC instead of on the corner of the insert, Paramount has stopped including inserts.

Does George A. Romero's Bruiser have an insert? It's a Lion's Gate release.

My copy also come with some contest insert but no chapter insert.

Has anyone purchased Babylon 5 Season 1 recently? I bought Babylon 5 Season 1 a week ago and it came without the episode summaries booklet that my Babylon 5 Season 2 to 5 all have. Can anyone confirm that they no longer package Babylon 5 with the booklet of episode summaries?

Are we still updating the list? Mean Girls has no insert.

It's a Paramount release. All Paramount releases with the Proof-of-Purchase tabs above the UPC barcode don't have inserts. The older Paramount DVDs had the PoP tab on the corner of the insert.

I just picked up the Moonlighting set, and I was surprised to find it was insert-less.

First off, there appears to be a flap meant to hold something om the set's back cover.

And second, it seems to be a lot to ask of me to keep track of six unmarked DVD's worth of content... without any kind of guide whatsover.

Did I just get a bad set?

How about Stripes Extended Cut?

Inside there was only a picture of the assault vehicle intended to be cut out.

Stripes has an insert (kind of) There's a cut-out of the EM50 but it sucks. On the back are advertisements of other DVD movies. Better than nothing for sure.

What's the word on Forest Gump?

Forest Gump has an insert.

It does? Hmm, I bought it from Costco and it didn't come with one. Is it supposed to come in one of those bulkly cases that are twice the size of normal ones as well?

I've had Forest Gump for a while and it's in a bulky case with a two page insert I believe. They may have stopped doing the insert now since Paramount no longer does.
