Very nice! :up::up:

Keep up the freat work John. I like your custom CSF & CHC covers so much that if you make a cover for a movie I don't own I go and buy that movie so I can use your cover & i've actually found a few great films beacuase of that reason.
John I just noticed House On Haunted Hill Do you plan on making a custom cover using the original poster art of the skeleton?
I'll be interested in it too.

Hey john I asked this just after you posted your Wasp Woman cover but it got lost in the ols thread. Do you have any Posters or other stuff for Attack Of The Giant Leeches?? I have it as a doyble feature with Wasp Woman & would like a cover for it to go inside the Wasp Woman Cover
I like that front cover on "'House on Haunted Hill".
Yes HoHH looks great.
I've downloaded it & plan to use it. What is the next Sci-Fi &/or Horror cover?
Where do you get these Poster Art books? I've checked my local bookstores, but their inventory is not useful. I'd love to have a resource like that available to me. I plan on buying "20,000 leagues beneath the Sea", & who knows maybe an alternate cover will be needed.

I have a poster art book on crime movies. It is in very good condition. If you are interested in it, email me and I will send it to you. I love the HOHH cover , I am printing it out now. Thanks Randy |
"Things To Come" looks really nice. How did you get the text on the spine to be 2-color like in the front poster image?
By hand! |
I'm downloading it now.
Originally posted by Dragonslayer I sort of suspected that it was hand done. I was not aware of any graphics app text tool that would do that. Patience has its rewards. |
Originally posted by The_Greek I think you could do that using a gradient or pattern overlay too. You could create a red-black rectangle and use it as a pattern to overlay over the text layer. Or a gradient, with the blend basically turned off will give the same effect. That of course is in photoshop, don't know how elements handles layers and overlays. |

Hey john I just got alot of your covers from habers & they look fantastic. I did notice 1 little problem with Body Snatchers though, you have the AR listed as 2.35:2 instead of 2.35:1 & I like that little quip about the P&S version, made me  when I seen it
John,
Excellent work, I really like the way the Re-Animator one looks :D If there are some posters you are looking for in particular let me know I should be getting some more books soon. |
John, I can wait until you have time to make an "Official" CHC cover for it, I still have to pay habers for all the covers I recieved from him & there are still alot of covers (& coverserts) I need to get printed.
  :)

Can't wait to see the War of the Worlds done.
If you start with Photoshop, spend time learning curves. They are probably the most powerful tool, but aren't useful if you don't know what you are doing. They can make a poor scan or photo come to life. |
That Karloff poster is very nice. No need to defend yourself about DVD-Rs John, it is no one's business but you own.
Does Sinister Cinema take requests for wanted films. In particular, I'm looking for the second Nero Wolfe Film from 1937 "The League of Frightened Men" it has never been available on video, but apparently some 16 millimeter rental houses used to have it. The first film "Meet Nero Wolfe" from 1936 is available from a similar, although less professional website http://members.tripod.com/classic-movies/ I've made my own cover using original promotional art and some screen shots.

Must be a few more DVD-R owners out there |
Goody, I've been hoping for some covers for Earth Vs. The Spider & How To Make A Monster, now if you could do Teenage Caveman & The Day The World Ended then my "Original Creature Features" Collection would look great :)

Very off topic
The Pioneer recorder does it make DVD-R discs that are playable on other DVD players? I had the Panasonic but returned it because it would not play on my Malata and I had trouble connecting it to my receiver and TV. I was considering the Pioneer, if it is playable on other players I will probably get it soon. Thanks |
Thanks for the quick reply.
I have 2 Sonys and a Pioneer player also. I did not try the DVD-Rs on those players because I was lazy. I really want the DVD-Rs to play on the malata because I have it connected to my receiver in the home theatre. I also have a problem with connecting the Panasonic recorder to the TV. I think I will go look at the Pioneer recorder now that I know what I am looking for. Thanks Randy |
John
Will the Star Trek cover be available als? Randy |
I think the Riverdance cover fits in with your other "Horror" titles beautifully :)
No plans on making a custom of Haunting, The: Signature Selection (DTS)? not that its a bad original cover .. would just be funny to see how it turns out. ;)
I'm looking forward to seeing that one.
I agree.
-thumbsup- they look great. I didn't even know you did The Day The World Ended already, Great job on it too. when will they be available @ dvdgreek?
