Dawson's Creek season 4

I just found this on tvshowsondvd.com

Looks like Dawson's Creek Season 4 will be available on October 5th (hopefully).

Although this hasn't been officially announced by Columbia TriStar, some online retailers are reporting that Dawson's Creek: Season 4 will be released on October 5th. This will be another 4 disc set containing 23 episodes, and will carry a $49.99 suggested retail price.

Thanks to Anne Marie Bianculli and Chris Lassen for letting us know

Is it going to have original music? No? Then it's a no-buy for me just like season three was... it's a shame too, this was my favorite show on TV and they ruined it on DVD

I used to watch Dawson's Creek all the time with my fiance, since it's her favorite show, and I have to say it grew on me as well. I could care less about some music being changed in the show, since I probably wouldn't remember what was played during certain scenes and whatnot, but changing the theme song for the intro to the show was an insult. Although, a die hard Creek fan like my fiance will still get these as she absolutely loved the show itself... so in that aspect, it's good that they're releasing these sets on a regular basis without having to wait forever in between sets.... but it's still a shame they didn't take the time to sort all these 'rights' issues out.

I was annoyed that the theme song was replaced as well - however, the other song kind of grew on me, which is kind of scary...

Man, I still need to get Season 3. Too many TV Shows coming out on DVD too quickly. And I love it.
