I'm suprised that Baywatch haven't gotten a DVD release already. I would buy all the seasons if it comes out.

Baywatch still is the most popular TV show in the world (more popular in other countries than in the US), so the fact it isn't on DVD must have something to do with that.

I don't know how they would do it. Would they include the original TV movie that lead to the series (and was actually quite good)? The original NBC season (which I don't think gets shown in syndication)?

Live/Trimark released a DVD (and 2 additional VHS) of Baywatch a few years ago (might be OOP) that included the first episodes (2-Part) of the NBC run and Pamela Anderson's first episodes (2-Part) and FOX released the Hawaiian Wedding TV Movie. I think FOX only owned the rights to the TV movie, so I assume Lions Gate now owns the rights to Baywatch: The Series since they bought Artisan who bought Live and they also own Trimark/Vidmark (I know it's complicatec)

I don't see the regular Baywatch shows as coming out this year. If you know the studio that owns the rights, then hit their website and see if it is listed. Maybe even a "baywatch related website" can help you out in the DVD date?
