Ric Flair signing, WHOOOOOO
I was at a Ric Flair book signing today (7/18/04). From the start they said he would only sign his book and the Ric Flair DVD. That was disappointing because I had the action figure from the classic superstars series 2 (pic @ http://www.ringsidecollectibles.com/...gory_Code=CLL2 )
He was accompanies by former referee now road agent Tim White. Every time the announcer would go on mic and say Ric Flair’s name everyone would go WHOOOOOOO WHOOOOO. A few times he even said it. Cameras were not allowed and someone was taking pictures of everyone signing stuff. You leave your email and they send you the picture for FREE (they take down your description). I got both the book and DVD signed. Here’s a picture of the signed DVD:

Towards the end of the signing (I was among the last) I had to go the bathroom and Ric Flair was done signing and went in before me. So now I can say: I SHARED THE SAME BATHROOM AS THE SIXTEEN TIME WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION RIC FLAIR!!
After he left the bathroom I left. Then I went to the table he was sitting in when signing. There was the water bottle and two coffee cups he was drinking from!! I took them! Now I can sell "Flair’s DNA" on ebay (the coffee cups still have his markings). Here’s a pic of them:

When he went out the limo driver was not there. They paged him and he still didn’t come. Everyone was gathered in front of his limo yelling Whooo and "fire the limo driver" and waving to him. People started joking that tomorrow on Raw it’ll be Flair vs the limo driver. Finally the limo driver came and he left. Tim White left in a very regular car. I waved bye bye to Tim White and he waved back. All in all it was a great experience. Well worth the one hour’s drive each way.

Awesome! Great experience, man! Ric Flair always was one of my favorites too.
...same subject, different wrestler: Buff Bagwell...
A few years ago, me and the ex-wife were car shopping at a Chevy dealership, and turns out that Buff was doing a remote for a local radio station there. We didn't realize that to be the case at the time, but as we were driving away after window shopping, I saw him and said to my ex-wife, "Holy sh!t, it's Buff Bagwell!!" She rolled her eyes and said, "And?" ...needless to say, I called him over and he came right up the my side of the car, and leaned right in and started talking to us after I told him that I was his biggest fan, always liked his character, blah blah blah.
Man, he was a really nice guy.

Congratulations, Class316! As strange as I think you are...I would have done the same thing...except I would't have posted it here.
I hope Ric does a signing in my neck of the woods.

It's spelled "WOOOOOOO", not "WHOOOOO". Did you not read the book? It's not a question.

"Hi Ric, I think this is the most important question you'll be asked today – Can you clear up how many world championships you've won and how woo is spelt?
I've probably won the world championship 22 times, 16 that have been documented. The others were when we were on tour and I'd lose the title and then win it back. For example I lost the belt to Harley for two days in New Zealand. That total includes my two WWF/E titles.
I don't know for sure how to spell it – I think it's w-o-o-o-o. There's no h in it, I don't say "who" - it's woooo!"
