best site to avoid double dipping?

i hate double dipping so if i know a better version is coming out anytime relatively soon, i wait. is there a website that lists all the information on newer editions of dvds coming out? e.g. had i known about the new underworld SE dvd coming out, i would have never bought the first!

thanks.

Try http://www.hometheaterinfo.com/dvdlist.htm
The list has entries up to 10/2004 (approx 3 months)

Also look at http://www.davisdvd.com/weekly/drops.html
at the price drops--could be an indicator or a new release

also try

http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/upcom....cfm?listall=y

the list takes will take a few seconds to load on BB (Cable/DSL)
Thru 12.28.2004

Do a search for your title. This may not be a complete list, only a list of what they *may* carry

I don't go there much anymore, since they shifted their focus completely to covering double dips, but it's a good site...

If it is a Columbia Tristar movie, count on it being released at least 3 times. Theatrical version, deluxe version, and Superbit.

Plan on it.
