Yes! IMO, it's worth it.... even though I don't believe it's anamorphic (if that's an issue with you)
(by the way, there's an edit button to the right of each post where you can fix boo boos. Or just let it go since we pretty much will know what you're talking about)

No anamorphic is really not an issue for me but I do care about a good transfer and commentary track.
I didn't even notice the edit button, thanks!

Yeah, I have a 4:3 TV right now but looks like I'll get a widescreen soon... if not later. For now, I try to get the best overall package if there are issues with a non-anamorphic vs anamorphic title.
But here is an older thread (almost 2 yrs old) that might have some useful info towards your decision:

One of my favorite films at the time. Certainly one of Oldman's best performances. He truly disappeared into the character. The commentary one the Criterion DVD was also excellent. It was wonderful hearing both Oldman and Webb discuss their thoughts about making the film. Sadly, I parted with the Criterion in favor of the MGM version. I tend to watch extras only once or twice. But I still miss having it just for the weath of material that's on it. You certainly can't go wrong in purchasing it. If you change your mind, it's not going to be very difficult to find a buyer
