Criterion Collection

I was just wanting to start a conversation about different Criterion DVD editions and movies.

I just won a version of the OOP Robocop Criterion DVD and I am very pleased with it. I have read several things here and there saying buy the MGM release and I just have to say, owning both the MGM and Criterion version of the film, I believe the Criterion version is far superior!

thank you for making me feel welcome here at the forum and also thank you for the link. That was a pretty cool link.

I was just wondering, since I am assuming you are a Robocop fan, did you think Bob Morton was that bad of a guy?

Bob was a pretty good guy actually. Just a young executive trying climb the ladder. Just the old folks who can't accept change and are stuck in their ways. I thought he was a funny guy as well.

I liked Bob Morton I thought he was a great character. It seems like in the movie they kind of made him look like a bad guy, not Dick Jones bad, but just bad, I didn't really agree with the way his character was presented.
