American Psycho unrated anywhere?

Is there anywhere I can get the unrated version of American Psycho? I really wanted to get it, but would prefer that over the Lions Gate "R" version. Thanks

It's being re-released July 27. New SRP (here in Canada) will be $13.98 so you should be able to find it for around $10.

Is the Universal Unrated being rereleased? Do you know where I could get that info?

Just curous but what are the changes between the rated and unrated versions?
IMDB doesn't have a listing for alternate versions and displays the rated and unrated running times as both 103mins.

Universal previously released the unrated version which is now out of print. However the differences between the two versions don't amount to much. The added footage is less than 1 minute, and it doesn't add or subtract from the movie in my opinion.

I saw 4 copies of the Rated R version at Best Buy yesterday in Union City.

Even though there is not a big difference, I would rather buy the unrated version.

I would never buy a clean or edited CD and I guess I would do the same with DVDs.

American Psycho isn't "edited". Theres a big difference from adding and taking away.

That said, I bought the unrated dvd the day it came out and have never seen the rated version, so I really can't comment.

Just a little added to the sex scene AFAIK.

Yeah, I think the main difference is a bit more thrusting and panting in the three-way sex scene.

I never saw the R-rated version to see how much difference there was, though.
