Batman - The Animated Series, Vol. 1 specs?
This set comes out on Tuesday.
Anyone know how many episodes come out?
How many where there anyways? I heard this set was 50% of the series...

there are 25 episodes in this set, and 85 episodes were produced. the season is mostly production order (but two parters, stay two parters), and there are a few featurettes here and there.

You're all wrong. It contains 28 episodes, and just shy of half of the first season. There'll be two more volumes, one with 28 episodes and another with 29.
Season 1 had 65 episodes and Season 2 had 20. If Volume 2 were to contain the rest of Season 1, then that would put it at 37 episodes, which would make for an odd set. This is why they will split these up into Volume sets instead of Season sets. Having three volumes of 28-29 episodes makes more sense, both cost wise and asthetically, than having two 32 episode volumes and one 20 episode set.
