Question about Sex & The City set

Many of my DDD sale items are arriving.

Sex & the City, "1st Six Complete Seasons" (according to DDD) arrived but one DVD says Season Six Part One.

Is there a season six part two or is that season 7?

Is season 7 the final season?

Thanks for your help!

Season 6 is the final season. It was aired in two separate blocks of episodes (12 and 8 episodes respectively), and is being released on DVD in two parts, of which part 1 is out already.

Thanks for responding.

Season six part 2 will be the final then. Any ideas of when it wi;ll be out?

While researching before posting the question I checked ebay where seasons 1 to 7 are being sold. Wonder how they figure that.

According to TVShowsOnDVD.com, Season 6: Part 2 will be out in November.

With another $49.99 SRP for eight half-hour episodes, no doubt.

I'm sorry to threadcrap, but I stopped buying Sex and the City because of the insanely high prices for such little content (starting with Season 5)

I wonder if next year there will be a complete season 6 released (with all episodes)?

I Almost did that until I saw Season 5 at my local WalMart for $19.99, and then I never got to see Season 6 so I will be picking them up.

Question: Does this show appeal to guys or is it kind of a chick show? I've always been curious.

Jeez. I bought all six seasons for $130 at Best Buy a couple months back. Pretty good deal, me thinks.

I really enjoy it.

I've waited on buying Season 6 pt. 1 though....waiting for pt. 2 to come out.

I'm a guy, and I think the show is OK. It has its moments. I'd never seek it out, though, or buy it on DVD.

My girlfriend, however, likes it a lot (she had the last season as a season pass on my Tivo). I don't know that she'd ever buy it on DVD either though. (She's also not as much of a DVD collector as I am...)

I was afrad it might be a "chick show", but I really enjoy it. We've rented the entire series through Netflix. I wouldn't buy it though, primarily due to the price tag. In my opinion, the first season stumbles a bit, but finds it's footing nicely after that. Give it a chance.

I am a guy and I started watching the show during the third season, when my sister wouldn't stop talking about it (also we shared a TV). I really got into the characters and starting laughing at all the situations alot. A guy can actually learn alot from this kindof show.
