Where is "Elvis" The Miniseries?

Does anyone remember the classic miniseries "Elvis" which was done in 1990 and starred Michael St. Gerard? I was wondering since the Elvis Presley estate has recently released his classic TV show "The 1968 Comeback Special" and arguably his greatest concert ever, 1973's "Elvis: Aloha From Hawaii" (both with awesome picture and sound restoration as well as tons of extras), is there any word on when or if this excellent mini-series will be released?

Agreed, the Kurt Russell movie is the definitive Elvis movie.

I remember that. Technically, it wasn't a miniseries, but a series that didn't get picked up for renewal. I think there were only about 8 episodes. It was an interesting concept, but I don't think I'd watch it again. It seems like die hard Elvis fans would snap this up though. I'm surprised they haven't released it.

But that wouldn't finish the Carpenter Collection; they'd still need to release 'Someone's Watching Me'. (You could get technical and say they haven't released the uncut 'Body Bags' in America either.)
