Newbie help for creating covers for TV shows
I have a PVR setup (sagetv) recording some of my favorite shows. I would like to burn the shows to DVD (say three to six episodes per disc depending on show length) and archive them.
My problem is that I can't find any good high res artwork to use. A lot of the shows are on Discovery and/or TLC (Monster House, Monster Garage, Am Chopper, Junkyard Mega-Wars, ...), and their sites don't have high res pics. Anybody got any ideas on where to get some good artwork?

not a friggin clue. Not for tv shows, especially those. Some like X-files and Buffy that have cult followings, can easily be found in books and magazines. But I think you are out of luck on those programs.

Sadly enough I have to agree with Michael ... best thing you could do is make a design that reflects the style / mood / setting of the show, without actually using any pictures. The logo of the show can be recreated, so that ain't much of a problem.
You don't always need pictures to make a good cover ;-)

yeah it wouldn't be hard creating a "trading spaces" one since they use vector graphics in the opening title sequence, but I don't know about the others.
