Brittney Spears last live concert was in Maimi I think and it airred on Showtime. I just wondered if there is any plans that they are releasing it on DVD.

I don't think anything has been announced yet, but it'll probably get released eventually. She just had a DVD come out in April, so I wouldn't be surprised if her producers waited a few months and released this in the fall for the holidays.

I did catch the concert on Showtime and thought it was absolutely terrible. That's not a threadcrap either, since I have all her other DVDs and really have enjoyed them. Her most recent tour just felt like exploitation and had waaay too much adult material, so it wasn't as fun as some of her previous stuff. Britney's charm and sex appeal comes from being the girl next door, and not in trying to out do Paris Hilton or Christina in shock value.

What bothers me is that even with the constant stigma of being famous for lip syncing in concert, her latest tour features even more of it. You would think that she and her choreographer would sit down and draft a concert in which she can handle the singing and dancing for the entire show.

This bothered me when I went to see her 2001 tour. She only sings live on the slower ballads that don't have dancing. If she just toned down the dancing, she could actually sing the songs.

Yeah, it's what turned me off to this tour. The TV promotions showed she was making no effort to even get the lip synching right. It seemed to pass the point of acceptability, and with as expensive as tickets were, it seemed pointless.

I saw Britney on The Onyx Hotel tour - and LOVED it! She doesn't want to tone down her dancing - that's what she does. I hope they release this on DVD soon!! And FYI, Britney is engaged to Kevin Federline.
