Vote for your favorite Larry Sanders episodes
From TVShowsOnDVD.com:
Larry Sanders episode guide @ TVTome
We're working with Columbia TriStar to let them know which episodes are fan favorites. It's very simple, just scan the list of the episodes from the 6 seasons and check off the ones that are your favorites. You can pick anywhere from 1-5 episodes. We plan on running this survey for a few weeks, so let your friends know.
Take the survey! Please only vote once.
While one would assume this means they are going to do "best of" releases, Columbia TriStar told us they haven't decided.

At least Columbia isn't totally shelving the show.
Maybe enough of a turn out they will consider releasing the remaining seasons on DVD now that TV shows are really taking off.

An idea thrown out in another forum was to vote for the first five episodes of Season 2. It shows interest in the show in general by getting votes, and then displays a real intent to have a release in season sets instead of a "best of" release.

Columbia is retarded - what if most people haven't even seen the show and are just waiting for it to come to dvd? How are you supposed to vote for your favorite episode then? - not to mention, a lot of the episodes aren't very self-contained - taken out of context, a lot of situations won't make much sense.
They need to ust release the freaking seasons like everyone else. (but not like how the screwed the pooch on the first season)

They should re-release season 1 with better quality video and a lower price point.
How about the first season remastered for $40, like MASH or The Simpsons sets?
I don't care about special features - just release the damn six seasons with decent quality and at a decent price. I'll buy them all.
Heck, I'd buy them all at once if they were $40 a season.

Yeah, I just voted for the first five in the order they aired (different from what's listed, which is production order):
The Breakdown (1)
The Breakdown (2)
The List
The Stalker
Larry's Agent
These aren't necessarily my faves, but there's no way in hell I'm buying a compilation that isn't Season 2. I'm a huge LS fan and have Season 1 already.

I'd rather not have anything at all.
If the best of set comes out and doesn't sell (because we're all waiting for season sets) then the message will be "Well, we tried it TWICE now, and it looks like people don't want Larry Sanders on DVD."
Why not just not **** it up next time, guys?

jough,
If the best of sets do come out the way it appears, you just may get your wish which is to not have anything at all, rather than a Best Of. Cause no sales by all the people holding out for Season Sets on principle will definitely mean there will be little or no chance of ever seeing Larry Sanders on DVD again. Good sales will produce a much greater likelihood of future releases, possibly even future season sets. And I completely agree with you that they need to revisit the first season and give us a good transfer and a decent price.

We'll see. Friends and South Park were originally released in single volume best of sets (well, the SP discs were chronological, but not in full seasons) and then later came out in full seasons.
Now, of course Friends is a much bigger title than Larry Sanders, but it's pretty obvious that Full Season sets sell much better than compilations do.
So what are they waiting for?
