Disc News: "Stop trying to make "Fetch" happen!" (Mean Girls)

If you're a fan of Lindsay Lohan, Tina Fey, burn books, or evil girls named Regina, you're in luck.

From DVD File:

High School Confidential - 1:58pm

Don't piss them off! The breakout hit of the year, the Mean Girls are going to hit DVD on September 21st, so hide your burn books. Paramount Home Entertainment will give this $85 million hit the special edition treatment, complete with

anamorphic widescreen transfer
Dolby Digital 5.1 surround track
audio commentary with director Mark Waters and writer Tina Fey
featurettes
deleted scenes
and the theatrical trailer

Retail will cost you $29.95.
I think they need to release more fetch movies about fetch girls because it's all so fetch.

If I hadn't heard a commercial for this movie in traffic, I would have no idea what the hell you are talking about

Same here. But even if I didn't, it's mentioned in the first post.

BTW, thanks for posting the specs. I'll probably pick this one up.

Guess I'm not hip or whatever...

From UrbanDictionary:

Fetch: The word that really hot girl from Mean Girls was trying to make slang for cool, awesome, or good.

"OMG, thats so fetch!"

** Still don't understand the thread title ** (oh, well)

But the whole point of useful subject headers is to keep people from clicking threads they don't want to read.

After this thread & the above info I'm already tired of this word. Looking forward to seeing the film but I hope this word isn't abused in it.

I thought this was going to be about a "Fletch" special edition.

Then I remembered hearing that line from the Mean Girls trailer. Huh.

That title is totally incomprehensible to anyone except people in the U.S.

...and incomprehensible to many in the U.S.

Really, I thought this might have been about some kind of new DVD service that people were against. Anyway...
