Donald Duck Cartoon Question...

Does anyone know the name of the Donald Duck cartoon in which Donald Duck and a cartoon parrot are sitting across the table from each other at a cafe, drinking wine? (Donald ends up getting quite drunk.) The cartoon, if I remember correctly, also features the animator's hand doing something or another, before the cartoon turns into abstract, swirly color stuff. (Sorry for the vague description, but I only saw part of the cartoon, and it was a couple weeks ago...)

Secondly, does anyone know if this particular cartoon is on the new Chronological Donald DVD set?

Thanks for the help...

This sounds more like the feature film MELODY TIME which has a mixture of animation and live action and which includes Donald Duck in one of the segments titled "Blame it on the Samba".

That sounds like it could be it. Thank you. Is "Melody Time" any good? Worth picking up? (Beyond the two minutes I was interested in, that is?)

Or it could be part of the Three Caballeros.

It is Melody Time. My 2 1/2 year old daughter likes it. For a while she would ask daily, "Watcha Donald Ducky?" The DVD is a bunch of animated musical shorts. IIRC, there's one about Johnny Appleseed and another about a naughtly little tug boat, plus several others. It's not bad, but the Donald Duck one is the best IMHO.

Best DVD purchase in years.

Can't wait for VOL 2.

I want the episode where Donald and his nephews battle off against the killer gorrilla.

CLASSIC.

The episode I really want to see again is when Donald's nephews go out and buy the box of cigars for Donald. Then they decide to try one out and Donald catches them and makes them smoke them smoke all of them to teach them a lesson about smoking before he discovers they were a birthday present. I had hoped they would be on the Chronological Donald vol 1, but I guess I'll have to wait for vol 2.
