This looks a lot like the crappy animated Van Helsing cartoon that was released.

Here is another review:

This should have been released a week or two earlier. I ordered it from CH, but have yet to receive it.

I might still get it. I liked the Van Helsing one. I'll probably get it, watch it and then eBay it.

Question...is this going to be the new trend when releasing sequals now, that is to make a 30-40 minute animated show to fill in the gaps between the movies?
Why won't they just film this stuff within the movie? And if not included in the theatrical cut, at least put it out on the DVD as bonus footage or a separate "extra"?

No ones whining about the Clone Wars cartoons because they are free (on paid cable or online), but if they came out on a DVD before the third ep, I'd get it... plus its 20 x 5 min, so that's an hour and forty minutes (double it by adding the commentary) then pop a $30 SE price on it.
There ya go!

Well, what they should have done was to put this "Dark Fury" feature on the re-release of Pitch Black. It would have been beneficial to Universal in that it would have created a more compelling reason to buy this re-release if one already had the original release.
Same thing with the Van Helsing animated adventure. They should have just held off and put it on the Van Helsing DVD.

I thought it was better than the VanHelsing one, but that's not saying much considering my opinion of that one
It's probably worth a rental if you are interested/like the character though...
