BHD superbit

Since this movie is coming out tomorrow and there is already a review on the site, I'm just wondering how the audio is. The reviewer said that there is a difference between the DTS and DD but nothing significant. I hope this is the same transfer as the region 3 version.

I would imagine it's the same transfer. Honestly, you should get the Korean 3DVD + OST version from koreandvds.com. Best version there is.

Does it share the same extras as the R1 3-disc Deluxe version?

Everything is the same but disc 1. The US version has DD 5.1 and 2-3 commentaries. The Korean one has DTS and no commentaries.

Are you talking about the video? I don't think he said that about the audio:

http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=11094

"Most of the time DTS tracks hold a slight advantage (if any) over the Dolby Digital track. However this time the difference was more apparent. Listening to them on their own in their entirety you'd never know there was a difference. However, toggling back and forth between the two reveals a different story. The DTS track was noticeably cleaner, offering crisper highs and more distortion free lows. Whizzing bullets sounded more realistic and less muffled, and dialogue seemed easier to understand. The difference can be described as if a subtle filter was degrading the sound of the Dolby Digital track, making it sound murky." - David Blair, DVDTalk Reviewer

The reviewer over at hometheaterspot didn't think there was enough of a difference to warrant a double/triple dip:

http://www.hometheaterspot.com/html/...p?sequence=749

"The DTS track has a tad more sense of space to it, especially in the rear, but it is minimal at best. I would be hard pressed to recommend this over the previous edition because of the DTS track alone." - Kris Deering, Senior Spot Editor

The DTS track featured on the Superbit for this title,(I have R3 Korean)IMO is superior in every way to the Dolby track featured on any of the releases for this title. If your a fan of presentation over extras I'd recommend you getting the superbit release of this film.

For the non-OAU readers (Obscure Anagram Using): the movie being discussed here is Black Hawk Down
