Aliens - deleted scene question

I have a question, that I know could easily be answered if I had the time to delve into the two disc special edition's supplementary section, (and I know I am kind of cheating here) but is there any mention or talk about this deleted scene:

- An additional scene shows Ripley searching for Newt and finding Burke who has been cocooned and impregnated. Burke begs Ripley to shoot him, instead she hands him a grenade. This scene does not appear in any released version but was filmed (some magazines printed a few shots taken from it).

This is the first I have heard of this scene and to my knowledge it's not on the Legacy or Quad sets as a bonus. Sounds pretty cool though.

This scene is talked about in the Alien Quadrilogy section of theThe Digital Bits Insiders Guide to DVD. James Cameron could've put this scene back into the movie but according to that book, "he never wants the scene to see the light of day".

I remember reading about this when i was younger, i wish they would had put it back in. I want to see Burke whining like the bitch he is.

I think the picture was in either Fangoria or The Oficial Aliens Guide Magazine that was released when it first came out in theaters. Could be wrong though, it's been a long time since i seen it.

Sounds too similar to a deleted (now restored) scene in Alien.

I remember seeing a still from this way back...could have been Fangoria, Official Movie Magazine or Starlog for that matter. I wonder why Cameron is so against it? Burke is a snake and it would be great to see him whine like a bitch..
