Just a heads up for anyone looking for the Mystic river 3 disc spec ed. i work at Best Buy, i'm typing this from the computer at the tech bench right now at 8:00 am... and our store and none of the stores in our district or region (entire northeastern US) received any copies of the Mystic River 3-disc special edition. they are still listed as 'on order', but the purchase order was scheduled for delivery on 6/2/04 along with all the regular ws and fs editions, which we did get plenty of. usually when this happens, it means that the rest of the purchase order was cancelled. this looks to be nation-wide for Best buy because im looking at inventory levels in every region and district and nobody has it....ill try to keep you updated...

We got them, I'm in northern CA.

I just got back from Coconuts and called Tower Records on the way home. Neither store had it, both told me they weren't going to be getting them in neither.

The Best Buy in Newington, NH had plenty of the 3 Disc Mystic River....And they were all priced and rang up at $20.99.....Bling Bling!

I'm in chicago and I saw em at my Bestbuy.

None at Walmart, CC, or BB here in North Carolina.

None at the BB in Laurel, MD. I didn't care as I wasn't going to buy it anyway, as it wasn't worth $14 more for a disk of what look to be documercials and a cd I won't listen to. I was tempted just to not get a frigging snapper though.

Circuit City in Rochester, NY did not get it in, but Best Buy did.

Plenty plenty @ Okemos BB as well.

Borders in New Orleans didn't get it and it's not on the way.

I work for Best Buy and most store got there shippments overnight right before stores open.

The CC that I go to in Northern NJ had plenty of the 3-disc edition.

the BB i work at didn't get them in till about noon...but we definately have them

We literally got ours half an hour before we opened at my Best Buy. 'Twas quite the pain making room for the 100+ copies we got in. Eventhough the ad listed it at $29.99, was surprised to see them ring up at $20.99. That essentially made picking up a copy a no-brainer.

Yep. Got mine for $20.99 in Okemos.

Almost as many 3-disc sets as the single disc release at Best Buy in Anderson, SC (actually, it looked like there were more because they had sold most of the single disc copies and still had nearly all of the 3-disc sets).

And the 3-disc is also ringing up for $20.99 there.

West Hollywood BB didn't have any copies in, as far as I could tell. The Target in the same building had three copies (of which I snagged one of) and no signs of any more.

It should be noted that the West Hollywood BB is pretty awful compared to the Atwater or Burbank ones.

Got my 3 disc from bb for 20 also Schaaaweet.

the only week this year I have not done the majority of my shopping online....and it's been a living hell

actually....my BB said they got only 3 copies in this morning...and sold them just after opening the store(I slept in). the only place to have them?.....eeegads....Suntoast. since I had credit there from last year....it cost me about $5.

Saw a bunch at Circuit City. None at Fry's Electronics.

i'm not sure when our store got them in but a quick look in RSS showed that the current $20.99 is not due to a market reaction and will go up as soon as tonight. i would bet that this will be corrected chainwide by tomorrow morning. get the low price while you can.
