5 - 10 10-15 15-20

JPRaup 05-31-04 07:56 PM

anywhere from $5 to $20

QuiGonJosh 05-31-04 08:06 PM

average movie...well...usually I just sell some old ones for store credit and get it with no money outta my pocket at the certain time...so...I guess...no much at all...

OREOSpeedwagon 05-31-04 08:19 PM

According to DVD Pro, I have paid $9.36 average for all of my discs.

TBFL 05-31-04 09:08 PM

I guess the average is between $10-15. But that includes, new, used, Wal-Mart Bins, and the occasional box sets, so its really a varied range.

Dabaomb 05-31-04 09:20 PM

my total average is probably around $8 a movie including box sets. Non-box sets are probably under $7 but since I have fewer box sets than regular movies, my total average only goes up by about a $1 or so.

also, something like the Indiana Jones Trilogy may have cost me $35 but I count it as 3 movies...in essence, it's about $11.67 each (in my spreadsheets, I still list it under boxsets).

danwiz 05-31-04 09:22 PM

My spreadsheet says that my average price for the 285 DVDs which I own is $20.51. That includes all shipping charges, box sets which might cost upwards of $60, free ones which I have received through promotions - EVERYTHING! Gotta keep in mind that a Sopranos Season set is somethig like $70, the Indiana Jones Trilogy is $45 or whatever, Criterions can be up to $50, and so on. Also note well that I said that this price includes all shipping charges.

FatTony 05-31-04 09:31 PM

My spreadsheet says an average of $17.02 per DVD in my collection of 486. However, taking into account those I got as gifts/promos/shoplifted (kidding), I myself have paid $12.60 per DVD. I can live with that.

MrX 05-31-04 09:54 PM

$10-$15

candyrocket786 05-31-04 10:17 PM

Too Damn Much (especially on the japanese imports)!!!

gutwrencher 05-31-04 10:21 PM

I forget after the first hundie of the month.http://www.stopstart.freeserve.co.uk/smilie/bedlam.gif

snorlaxnut 05-31-04 10:39 PM

Usually I just buy one from Wal-Mart's $5.50 bin. This month I spent $20 on 11 DVDs. 9 of them from Dollar Tree.

antennaball 05-31-04 10:48 PM

I generally try to keep in the $10 and under range (I buy a lot used). However, I have no problem paying more if i think the DVD warrants a higher price.

Jah-Wren Ryel 06-01-04 12:16 AM

Is that a hundai? Unit of measurement of dollars equivalent to the cost of one hundai automobile?

LuisL 06-01-04 12:22 AM

between $0 and $15, sometimes a little more.

still not enough ?s

conscience 06-01-04 12:44 AM

those damn tv box sets burn a big hole in my wallet.

I haven't been buying too many movie dvds (unless I know I will watch them more than once -- usually a catalog title.)

I am one of those that never gets tired of watching a television box set...I could watch say M*A*S*H, Buffy, etc. over and over.

Tarantino 06-01-04 01:56 AM

Between 1 and 1,000,000 dollars.

That answer your question?

gotwavego 06-01-04 02:25 AM

ah..different question, no idea, maybe $10-12 on average.
