If you can't find the demo, you don't have it. It would be very obvious since Criterion doesn't do hidden features AFAIK.

If there wasn't a UPC, it was probably part of the Kurosawa Boxset that they put out. None of them had the UPC to keep stores from breaking up the boxset and selling each one individually. They might've also done it to keep consumers from buying the boxset and returning single ones for refunds.
