I liked the Schindlers list gift set. Kind of awkward to get the contents out of it, but still quite classy.

For Region 1, the Freaks and Geeks Limited Edition packaging is the one to beat so far this year.

I also like the Disney tins but they are the same from previous waves.

I have to disagree with you in regards to the packaging for "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" since I found it cumbersome and did not like the design at all.

I know this release was tainted with loose-disc problems but it's the coolest damn thing to have.

I think the Monster Collection so far is the best followed by The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

I really like the packaging for Jonny Quest: Season 1. Nothing new or extravagant, but cool looking.

Another vote for Master and Commander. I love the feel of the "linen" box and the sepia-toned nautical artwork is awesome.

I actually like the Northern Exposure packaging. I like the whole nostalgic down vest look.

I guess I'm alone but this by far gets my vote. Of everything I bought in 2004, this looks the coolest on my shelf. . .

I will have to agree with 'mike45' about the whole take with Northern Exposure's packaging, definitely very cool! But if I had to pick one of my own, I would go with...The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2-disc edition).

I hate you. I ordered one the second I heard about it, yet I didn't get in.

I really like the way HB packaged the Flintstones, Scooby Doo, and the Jetsons.

Close second is the Monster Legacy Box Sets....

Far and away The Pink Panther Collection, it's so hip. The way the discs are set isn't too practical, but man is it cool.
