Need help with DVD Profiler...error msgs..please help!!
I am not sure where to go, but I need help with Profiler and I know many here use it. So sorry if wrong forum but I am desperate...
I keep getting this error "DBISAM Engine Error #9217 Error reading from table 'Collection'" and other errors like "unable to save actor information". I get this when trying to add new DVD's to my collection. Also, when I first open up application I get the 'Collection' error. I don't know why. Can anyone please help. Let me know if you need more info. and never experienced any problems with Profiler before.
Thanks in advance for any help!!

If you have a backup of your database you can try to restore it.
or
You can also try the built-in repair utility. It's under Tools->Options->Utilities.
If those don't work you might want to try to contact DVD Profiler Tech Support. They have an email address on their website.
Good luck!

i've tried all 3 to no avail. i am wondering if i delete the application entirely and then re-install..if that would work? would i lose my collection though? it is backed-up, i believe.

Even if your backed-up database should be corrupt, you can download from the online collection. Just don't upload if your local profiler comes up corrupt/empty.
You'll probably find all the information you want at the forum on their homepage.

are you saying as long as it is online at the actual DVD Profiler site I should be good with deleting app and re-installing? i checked and it is viewable online. how can i upload from site to application? i don't see that option or link to?
