Anyone Excited For Mad TV Season One?

I just read the news at TVSHOWSONDVD.com today. I love this show or I did in it's first two seasons after that i stopped watching frequently but man in my opinion those first couple of seasons were awesome. I can't wait for this to come out.

From the news item:
UPDATE: We spoke to Warner Bros Home Video and they told us they will be releasing the show in season sets.

Good news indeed. This and SCTV are my two favorite comedy skit shows. I know most people don't like/hate Mad TV, but I have found it consistently better than SNL. Can't wait to have "Sex Toy Story" on DVD!

Anyone know off hand what season the Rudolph parody showed up? Just curious how long the wait may be. It seems like it was a long time ago, so maybe season 3 or 4?

"Raging Rudolph" was in Season 1
"The Reinfather" was in Season 2

I loved Orlando Jones on this show. I still think he is one of, if not the, funniest cast memeber ever.

The early seasons of Mad TV were great when they did the parody "Gump Fiction" or claymation stuff like Clops (we see an inebriated Mr. Potato Head and the Pillsbury Doughboy getting killed in the oven). Classic stuff there.

Weird but I might get this.

When the show first came on, I didn't find it too funny. But now I'm watching it on Comedy Central and it's a whole lot better than I remember.

I'll plead temporary insanity at the time.

Someone else who shares this opinion? Amazing.

He was only on the show very briefly iirc. It's weird, after he left, neither he or madtv(imo) have been that funny.
